    Applications Development Manager Current

    ERP platform
    • Led an audit of the core ERP platform (Odoo) delivered by a former implementation partner, presented findings to senior management and directed remediation.
    • Took full ownership of ERP support after the prior partner's contract ended, and led a structured handover to a new implementation partner.
    • Directed the upgrade and migration of the ERP across major versions in two months, with no disruption to operations.
    • Directed HR/payroll integration with the ERP, automating payroll data flow between HR and finance.
    • Delivered customs HSCode classification in the logistics/shipping module to meet a government customs data-exchange deadline.
    • Customized and implemented a Recruitment application within the ERP to HR leadership's requirements.
    Governance & security
    • Designed and deployed governance modules for change management, user access, user provisioning and system audit logging.
    • Updated core IT policies, supported a PwC-led external audit, managed key compliance renewals and initiated Disaster Recovery planning for core systems.
    • Took part in an organization-wide move to a cloud-based email security and threat-protection platform.
    Operations & team
    • Led selection and organization-wide rollout of a new IT Service Management (ITSM) platform, replacing the legacy solution.
    • Directed technology modernization for the travel & tourism unit, including a dedicated email domain migration and vendor-led implementation planning.
    • Built out the IT/ERP support team through structured hiring and onboarding of developers and support staff.

    • Led Odoo implementations across Head Office, Real Estate, Logistics/Shipping and manufacturing/trading units.
    • Directed a full ERP go-live (CRM, Sales, Accounting, Operations) for a real estate business unit, end to end.
    • Delivered a payment gateway integration in the logistics/shipping module, streamlining division-wide payments.
    • Saved a combined SAR 1.15M on e-invoicing while staying fully compliant with ZATCA regulations.
    • Rolled out cloud email backup and business continuity for 350+ users.
